I am a college instructor and writer with an M.F.A in Creative Writing (Fiction). My Masters Thesis was a collection of linked short stories that has yet to be published. As a writer, I have been published in the Potomac Review, Pank: A Literary Magazine, Iron Horse Literary Review, and university specific guidebooks for basic composition courses. I have placed in the following writing contests: Sister Maura Eichner Writing Award (2004) and Discovered Voices Award (2007). I am currently working on a novel.
I have many interests including short fiction, Chick Lit, food writing, literary theory, research, writing guides, creative non-fiction, and film adaptations of novels.
